❝ Made of acorns, seashells and honey ❞

I’m Julie, and I’m an aspiring illustrator based in Ireland. I might be 27 but I still have the soul of a child!

  • I’m currently in the process of realizing a portfolio for children’s book illustrations, but do feel free to contact me if you think I could be what you’re looking for!

  • I specialize in hand-drawn, minimalist looking illustrations about nostalgic childhood environment where acorns, seashells and mushrooms thrive! You could define by style a ‘cute goblincore’ !

  • Well, to quote Aesthetic Wiki, goblincore can be defined as an aesthetic based on the appreciation of aspects of nature not typically regarded as beautiful, such as frogs, snails, moss, mud, plants, and fungi such as mushrooms. It is named after the goblin, a creature from European folklore, but in Goblincore, the goblin represents a carefree infatuation with nature's "ugliness" and unpredictability.

Practitioners often collect and hoard small, shiny objects, referred to as "shinies", which in my case includes seashells, acorns and mushrooms!
